The greens are now being cut a 5mm, but really need to be verti-cut to lift up long grass. This will help with ball roll and increase green speeds. This will happen next week when temperatures increase a little.
 
 The tees have now been verti-cut to create a bed for new seed to sit in. After sowing new seed, a heavy sand dressing has been applied and also the seasons first fertiliser. The seed and sand have been dragged in and has left a good finish. It will take 2-4 weeks before we see the results of this work. Most of the damage on the tees happened due to lack of water last season.
 
The fairways have start to come back nicely after the winter, but with some areas needing some work to get them back up to standard. The plan is to do this work in the coming weeks.
